Adding S-Print Pro to Support Our Production

Speed 3D Mold is preparing to add the ExOne S-Print Pro to complement its existing S-Max production setup. The planned addition is intended to support smaller, detail-intensive mould and core applications and provide greater flexibility in production planning.

Installation preparation underway. Production availability will be confirmed following installation and process validation.

Why this matters for customer projects

  1. 01

    Application-led equipment selection

Machine selection should reflect the component’s size, geometry, quantity, and production requirements.

  2. 02

    Support for smaller, complex applications

The planned addition is intended to support smaller moulds and cores with detailed geometry.

  3. 03

    Production planning flexibility

The objective is to accommodate a broader mix of work alongside the existing S-Max setup.

Sand printing and complex casting geometry

The source article uses pump impellers with complex flow geometries as a typical application for sand printing. Components of this kind combine curved, enclosed internal passages with demanding surface and dimensional requirements — geometry that printed moulds and cores can form directly from CAD data.

The application discussed in the source relates to work on the existing S-Max system; it is not a component produced on the planned S-Print Pro.
