Casting Material Capability
Casting Materials We Currently Support
The material records below represent Speed3D Mold’s current casting capability for replacement and industrial components. Final acceptance depends on the component geometry, size, quantity, specification, service conditions and inspection requirements.
Materials not listed on this page are not part of our current standard casting capability unless separately reviewed and confirmed in writing by Speed3D Mold.
What We Review Before Confirming a Material
A material designation alone is not sufficient to confirm manufacturability. Speed3D Mold reviews the applicable specification together with the component and operating requirements before accepting the production scope.
- Requested material grade and governing standard
- Existing drawing, specification or material certificate
- Component geometry and approximate casting weight
- Service environment
- Operating temperature and pressure, where applicable
- Corrosion, erosion or wear conditions
- Mechanical-property requirements
- Heat-treatment requirements, where applicable
- Machining and welding requirements
- Chemical and mechanical testing requirements
- Inspection and certification requirements
- Required quantity and delivery schedule

How Material Approval Works
01
Existing Information
Drawing, previous material certificate, specification, sample component or operating requirement.
02
Grade and Standard Review
Confirm the requested material designation and governing specification.
03
Testing Scope
Define chemical-composition verification, mechanical testing or other project-specific requirements.
04
Production Review
Evaluate geometry, casting process, section size, heat treatment, machining and inspection requirements.
05
Final Agreement
Confirm the material specification, acceptance criteria and documentation before production.
Testing scope varies by project. Chemical verification, mechanical testing, heat treatment records or third-party inspection are included only when agreed within the project scope.
